Celtic Cross

The simplicity of Celtic Christianity always carried a deep connection to the natural world. In this special image, Tiny Boat Studio has tried to capture this idea. Cornwall, being steeped in the heritage of Celtic Christianity, is often referred to as the “Land of the Saints.” During the 5th and 6th centuries, missionaries from Ireland and Wales established the faith there. This legacy is visible today through the many ancient sites, place names, and Celtic crosses.  In the Cornish language we bring you the opening lines of the Lord’s Prayer – “Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name”  (Please note this is a flat photo image, not real wood or sea glass) The card is 15.24 cm x 15.24 cm (6 x 6 inches) and blank inside.
